It’s sad how easy it is to forget the people that help make life so special. In fact, if we weren’t given a day or two out of the year to just sit back and think about everyone who doesn’t annoy us on a regular basis, we’d probably even forget to appreciate them enough. That’s why, I think, in one of the coldest, bleakest of months, somebody had a neat idea – let’s dedicate a whole day to the people we love to…love!!

We’ll even be all nice to them and everything, get them some fancy chocolates, and take them out somewhere nice. Or, if they just happen to be the guy or girl who has us seeing hearts and stars, give them a lovely flower or two, enjoy a romantic dinner together, or finally get them that expensive gift they always wanted (and never hesitated to keep reminding us about).
