My Yacht!
Yeah, I know you guys. Why share when you can have a whole yacht to yourself? I mean, you know you've got a LOT of guests coming - your whole extended family, or maybe even your whole neighborhood! They love to party, and they love the idea of a big, beautiful cruise on a luxury motor yacht!! So what do you do? You look us up. You find that we have a boat with three decks and we hold up to 450 people. Yay! You're set! Or are you?
Jumping right into the third part of our party planning series, we will now look at full ship charters. What are the basics that you need to know to help you plan for something as big as this? Well, it would help to know that our minimum of guests is 115 for a full ship charter, so you usually need that amount or more, though we can work with smaller groups. You should once again have a specific date that you're interested in, and an idea of what time of day you're looking for. Try to give your event planner an idea of your budget, so they can figure out the charter that suits your needs best. Also, remember that we leave out of many different ports, which include our home port in the World's Fair Marina in Flushing, Chelsea Piers in Manhattan, Liberty Landing in New Jersey, and Norwalk and Stamford in Connecticut.
Full Ship charters are ideal for weddings, bar/bat-mitzvahs, sweet 16's, corporate events, school trips, big birthday bashes, and pretty much every other event under the sun. If you're really interested in holding a date, you should make an appointment as soon as you can to see the boat and speak with your event planner. There's no substitute for seeing the boat up-close. Once you're satisfied with the sneak peak, you can move further in your planning stages by making a deposit as specified for the date, and then over the next few months (preferably) before your trip, pick out the menu you like, and give us your final arrangements, such as your final head count and the way you want your tables set up. What you'll be looking at, in the simplest terms, is a five hour event (four hours sailing), with our premium open bar, the whole boat to yourself, and our DJ if you so desire.
Well, that's all I'll give you for now- we'll see if an example will help you guys out next time!! Until then, feel free to comment or ask any questions, if you have them.
